The SpirALS Support Record Manager enables you to see all support and cost records, sorted by student, staff, cost type, funding body, batch costs etc. and is the ideal facility for viewing or amending support records.
All support and cost records can be viewed, edited, sorted or deleted from the Support Record Manager (providing you have the necessary editing level).
In addition, all rows can be sent to Excel by clicking on the 'Select records and send to Excel' button. To select specific records, highlight the ones you want, then copy and paste into an Excel spreadsheet.
•To edit information in a row, click on the appropriate field - such as a support heading, staff type rate or number of weeks, and change to the required information. Costs will be recalculated accordingly.
•To edit information in 'Data Form' view, click on the appropriate button on the top right of the form.
•To delete a single record, highlight the record and click on the 'Delete Selected Item' button.
•To delete multiple records, highlight the required records and press the delete key on your keyboard.
NB The hourly cost can only be amended in Staff Types and Hourly Rates Form (unless it is a 'variable rate' ). If you are unable to edit any information, you may not have the required level of access and will need to contact your system administrator.
•To change hourly rates and update student records, see 'globally changing rates and cost records'.
•Right click in a column to bring up sort and filter options.
•To send selected records to MS Excel, click on the button 'Select (filtered/shown) records and send to Excel'.
